Another red carpet win for the ever-daring Australian. The studded dress fit her statuesque body like a glove and give her an amazing hourglass figure. Check out the detailing in the close-ups - this gown is a true work of art.
Evan Rachel Wood in Gucci Premiere.
Feathers! Sequins! See-through fabric! There's so much going on but somehow she manages to make it work. The rising screen star is also emerging as a fashion reference on the red carpet. We'll keep an eye on her until the Oscars.
Emma Stone in Lanvin.
Kudos for putting an original touch on the belted waist. The eagle adds a fun spin on the trend that everyone was wearing (see Helen Mirren, Laura Dern, Kate Winslet, Jessica Chastain etc, etc, etc.) Bonus points for the lovely jewel tone of the dress and the superb makeup.
Salma Hayek in Gucci.
Dazzling in an art deco bustier dress reminiscent of the disco era. I also like that she's not over ombré hair yet... I'm not either.

Stands out in a classic strapeless gown. If you're looking for a traditional gala look, that's the way to do it.
Tilda Swinton in Haider Ackermann
In a class of her own. She looks otherworldy and that's a good thing because no one else on Earth could pull this off. The icy blue hue works perfectly with her complexion. Add her awesomely rock n' roll hair and you have the final touch to this modern and edgy look.
